YOUTH GUARANTEE

Too many young people fail to connect with school. They leave without qualifications and are headed for a future of hardship, low skilled and poor paying jobs (assuming they can get work). All this leads to low self-esteem and other negative outcomes.

Approach’s Youth Guarantee programme is a chance to change this.

Opportunities

Our team and programmes extend the vision and dreams of our students, and the learning and qualifications obtained at Approach serve as entry-level qualifications towards employment or as a springboard towards on-going learning and skill training.

Our small size and low student-staff ratios enable responsive, flexible delivery and maximise opportunities for success.

We aim to address the needs of all learners through tailored literacy and numeracy help as well as generic skills training.

We offer

  • Individualised coaching and support within a group learning environment
  • Understanding of HOW you learn
  • A learning plan designed for YOU
  • Work experience
  • Maths and English tuition if needed
  • The chance to make new friends
  • Recreation periods and outings
