Family Whanau Support Networks
The Family Whanau Advocacy and Support worker has extensive contacts with other helping agencies throughout Dunedin and wider Otago. These networks help us ensure we have up to date resources on a wide range of issues that can affect families, from WINZ subsidies and Working for Families through to behavioural and developmental issues.
This also means that from time to time, we are able to put on workshops for our parents and caregivers, using outside expertise to educate and inform us all (families and staff).
